What we do

With over two decades of expertise in anaerobic digestion, GMT turns organic waste into carbon-negative biomethane, providing a clean, renewable energy source. Our advanced proprietary technology helps businesses reduce emissions and transition away from fossil fuels. While we focus on creating scalable, efficient solutions that support a sustainable, net-zero future.

We begin all projects by identifying suitable sites and working closely with landowners to secure the appropriate land agreements. Once a location is confirmed, we handle all necessary permitting, grid connection applications, and regulatory approvals to ensure a smooth development process.

AT GMT, we oversee the entire construction phase, from site preparation to plant construction and commissioning. All plants are designed and built to the same high standards, using consistent feedstocks and suppliers to ensure scalability and performance across all sites.

Once built, we take full responsibility for the operation of our plants. We own and operate all of our biomethane facilities, including our operational plant in Cambridge, as well as several others currently under development and construction. Our experienced teams continuously monitor and optimise plant operations, ensuring maximum output and minimal downtime.
